Three days to discover 50 years of Made in Italy excellence in acoustic and visual signaling
We are proud to announce Sirena’s participation in Fabbriche Aperte Piemonte 2025, taking place on October 23, 24, and 25 at our headquarters in Rosta. This is a unique opportunity to visit one of the leading companies in Turin’s industrial landscape and see firsthand how the devices that ensure safety and signaling in over 70 countries around the world are designed and manufactured.
A Journey into the Heart of Innovation
Founded in 1974 by Alberto Garnerone, Sirena has become an international benchmark in the design and production of acoustic and visual signaling devices. With more than 50 million products manufactured and a solid presence in over 70 countries through 200 distributors, Sirena embodies the excellence of Made in Italy applied to industrial, automotive, and civil safety.
During the three days of Fabbriche Aperte, visitors will have the chance to step inside our production site and discover what makes Sirena a truly unique company in its field.
The Bridge over State Road 25: Engineering and Social Responsibility
Built in 2003, our pedestrian bridge not only connects the two parts of our facility separated by State Road 25 but also symbolizes the strong bond between Sirena and the local community. Open to both employees and the public, it stands as a tangible example of how a company can contribute to the safety and well-being of its territory.
The Sirena Museum: 50 Years of Italian History
Inaugurated in 2024 to celebrate our 50th anniversary, the Sirena Museum offers an immersive experience across six themed rooms. You’ll explore iconic products such as MINICELERE and ROTALLARM, revisit historic milestones like our collaboration with the Osella Formula 1 Team, and trace the technological evolution that took us from the craftsmanship of the 1970s to today’s Industry 4.0 innovation.
The Technical Laboratories: Where Excellence Is Born
Established in 1988 and continuously upgraded, our laboratories represent the technological core of Sirena. During your visit, you’ll see some of the key testing facilities in action:
- IP Testing Chamber – for water jet resistance
- Anechoic Chamber – for acoustic performance measurement according to international standards
- Photometric Chamber – for testing light intensity
- Climatic Chamber – for extreme environmental testing
- Vibration Resistance Bench – for mechanical durability tests
- Impact and EMC Testing – for safety and regulatory compliance
These facilities enable us to manage most of the certification and homologation pre-tests internally, ensuring the highest level of quality control.
The Production Lines: From Concept to Finished Product
Visitors will see our two main production areas in action:
- Automotive Production – dedicated to priority and emergency vehicles (Police, Ambulances, Fire Brigades, Civil Protection) and road assistance fleets. Here we design and assemble blue and amber lightbars, motorcycle and bicycle lighting systems, and innovative solutions such as Lumina.
- Industrial Production – focused on signaling devices for workplace and industrial safety. We manufacture around 3,000 different products, divided into 30 product families, for a total of over half a million units per year, each assembled and tested by hand by our skilled operators.
The Shipping Warehouse: Destined for the World
The final stop before our products reach their destinations. Every day, around 2,000 devices leave our logistics center, headed to customers on five continents — a clear sign of Sirena’s global reach.
