In order to choose a correct philosophy and elements configuration needed to create a suitable plant of audible alarm and evacuation, you should consider few things:
• to know the real environmental conditions of use considering factors such as background noise, the area to be covered, the presence of obstacles (walls, shelves, sound absorbing walls);
• to consider the variables of the acoustic signal source, particularly in terms of sound intensity and frequency.
This last point is essential to determine in practice the type of devices that can guarantee an appropriate sound level (well above the ambient noise), easily recognizable and clearly distinguishable. The “TRADITIONNAL” CONNECTION SYSTEM offers products that can be activated by just the closing or opening of a contact (button or relay). On the front panel of the device there are lights that indicate the system’s condition ,both the perfect operation and a failure
(problems with battery back-up or speakers’ integrity).
They have identical characteristic ,acoustic and operation, to the sirens of the serial line that will be described later, and are particularly suitable for signaling in environments with dimensions not so extended and simple structure, where the message can be managed with local controls.
“Conventional” sirens become complex to connect and manage, with a great expenditure in terms of wiring if you want to adopt individual solutions in different compartments of the same reality, in order to ensure a progressive and/or general evacuation system.
The Conventional system ensures the acoustic characteristics provided by the decrees in force: it is important to emphasize that in the system maintenance, the absence of a control operated by the central implies undoubtedly higher costs.

The SERIAL COMMUNICATION SYSTEM (PCS) offers great flexibility in case of implementation or modification and the ability to activate alarms is both localized and general. The needs of each company, will be examined and developed by our service PCS, together with the customer.
Its distinguishing feature is to have a constant monitoring of each element installed (sirens, lights, emergency switches), as well as the efficiency of the line in itself. Any anomalies that refers to such devices and their functions, among which are primary battery efficiency, the functionality of the magnetodynamic acoustic units of sirens and the supply network is immediately detected and reported in Central with an audible alert and a report on the visible display in real time and stored in the central (the Central has the ability to record and keep in memory up to 1,000 events).
The implemented control system allows a further economic advantage in the maintenance thanks to the immediate identification of the critical point.
